purpose.

We live in a truly beautiful place.
There are trees and homes and creatures all around us, making gorgeous art.
A perched bird on a crackly brick building.
A child throwing paint.
The ocean carving the waterfront.
Color contrasts.
Light bursts.
Tears of joy.
And whether they know it or not, there's a reason I saw it: to appreciate God's minute details in this world around us. Sure, the Grand Canyon is spectacular, and the vast capacity of outer space is breathtaking, but my eyes are opened to the amazingly natural personalities of nature and humans interacting off of each other and singing the very lyrics of God's favorite song.
